Best Time to Visit
The best times to visit South Korea are during spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is pleasant, and the landscapes are stunning. Cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage are particularly breathtaking.
Getting Around
South Korea has an efficient public transportation system, including subways, buses, and trains. The T-money card is a convenient way to pay for fares. The KTX train connects major cities and is a great way to travel quickly and comfortably.
Language
While many people in South Korea speak English, especially in tourist areas, learning a few basic phrases in Korean can enhance your experience.
What to Expect
Respect for elders is significant in Korean culture. Bowing is a common greeting, and it's polite to use both hands when giving or receiving something.
